The Center for Women's Health

Health Services for All the Women You Are

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center recognizes the complexities of today’s woman, especially her medical needs. We know you need more and expect more. But, we also know that women have one thing in common: An awareness that their health needs are important and that those needs change dramatically at each stage of their lives.

The services available to you through North Arkansas Regional Medical Center extend far beyond the traditional areas of childbirth and parenting. While these remain an important part of our total program offering, our focus has broadened to address a wide spectrum of women’s health issues.

Your Best Weapon Against Breast Cancer is Mammography

One out of every nine women will develop breast cancer. But breast cancer doesn’t have to be fatal. Early detection is the key to being cured. Experts agree that a mammogram along with regular monthly breast self-examinations are the best avenue for early detection. Our staff is sensitive to your needs and will be glad to discuss any questions you might have. Discuss with your doctor when a mammogram would be appropriate for you.
