Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) is an advanced mode of high-precision radiation therapy that utilizes computer-controlled x-ray accelerators to deliver precise radiation doses to a malignant tumor or specific areas within the tumor.  IMRT is not an experimental modality, but state of the art system that will keep NARMC up to date with todays standards for radiation therapy delivery. It is important to note that not every patient can benefit from this technology, however, our staff can determine whether or not you are a canidate for this technology.
