Dr. Linker received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Oklahoma, and completed his internship and residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock. He completed his Clinical Research Fellowship in Alzheimer’s Diseases as a fellow in the geriatric psychiatry branch at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, MD, and his Externship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Linker is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has received numerous honors and awards including: Finalist, Top Arkansas Physicians, Arkansas Life; Excellence in Care and Management of Patients in Clinical Research, National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda, MD; Lilly Fellowship Award, Society of Biological Psychiatry; and Special Achievement as a Resident in Psychiatry, National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda, MD.
Prior to joining the staff at NARMC, Dr. Linker’s work has included medical director for geriatric and psychiatric clinics in Fayetteville, and Ft. Smith, AR; and other educational, consulting, and research work in the field of psychiatry.
